Job description

Instructional Learning Coach
Brookwood School District 167
Goal: The Instructional Learning Coach will work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support student learning.  The Instructional Learning Coach will provide direct classroom support that will expand and refine the classroom teacher's understanding of research-based, effective instruction.
Qualifications:




  • Understanding of and experience with research-based instructional practices
  • Extensive knowledge of the ELA and Math common core standards and the instructional shifts
  • Knowledge of current curriculum materials and technology
  • Working knowledge of computer-based instructional and assessment programs including but not limited to NWEA, Math 180, Read 180, System 44, and iRead
  • Current Illinois State Teacher License-Reading/Math endorsements preferred
