What You'll Do:

  • Operate and monitor extrusion lines with a focus on mechanical efficiency and quality output
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and product dial-ins
  • Conduct in-process inspections and occasional final inspections
  • Perform equipment breakdown, cleaning, and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate documentation and quality records
  • Work closely with engineers to enhance processes, materials, and mechanical systems
  • Handle and work with hot surfaces and materials safely
  • Lift and transport materials up to 50 lbs.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude – hands-on experience with machines, tools, or mechanical systems preferred
  • Previous plastic extrusion experience a plus
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications with attention to detail
  • Mid-level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment (with or without restrictions)
  • Comfortable working around hot surfaces and materials
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for mechanical efficiency
