What are extrusion operators?

Extrusion operators are skilled workers who operate and maintain machines that shape materials—such as plastics, metals, or food products—by forcing them through a shaped die to create continuous profiles. They monitor the extrusion process, adjust machine settings, and ensure product quality by conducting inspections and measurements.
