Job description

Company Profile: Gulf Cable, LLC is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Milton, Florida. Due to continuous demands in our industry, we are in search of experienced CV Line Operators to help expand our growth.

Position: Experienced CV Extrusion Line Operator

Position Duration: Permanent Full-Time

Position Location: Milton, FL

Summary: Gulf Cable manufacturing has extrusion as the most important process. There are two types of extrusion processes.

1) CV (Continuous Vulcanization) Extrusion Process. This is used to make Rubber Insulated Cables and core of Medium Voltage cables. We have a need for 2 experienced operators with 4-10 years of having run a CV line in a Cable factory.

2) Thermoplastic Extrusion Process. We have a need for 1-2 experienced operators with 3-5 years of having run a thermoplastic extrusion line in a cable factory.

This position is for experienced CV line operators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to run CV extrusion production line in an established Cable Manufacturing facility, making power cables or rubber insulated cables.
  • Able set-up an extrusion line independently from selection of tooling, set-up of pay-off and take-up, setting running parameters and monitoring the Quality of Product consistently.
  • Being familiar with electronic screens (Human Machine Interface) for controlling the extrusion process.
  • Having exceptional Mechanical skills with ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
  • Maintain consistent log of production and Quality per Gulf Cable systems.
  • Required experience: Running a CV line in a cable factory
