Job description

There is an opportunity for a newly created Process Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organization experiencing consistent expansion. This is a hands-on role with direct impact on improving processes, supporting new product introductions, and driving operational performance.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the plant floor, solving problems in real time, and delivering measurable improvements in yield, throughput, and quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Improve processes to increase yield, throughput, and product quality
  • Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis
  • Support new product scale-up and manufacturing readiness
  • Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs
  • Train operators on process changes and new equipment
  • Partner cross-functionally to execute capital projects
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process control improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical processing or plastics manufacturing 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience in polymer processing, extrusion, or compounding
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement tools
