WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Assist in implementing corporate social responsibility initiatives with the aim to increase Hyundai & Genesis brand awareness, consideration, and market share by executing relevant programs and initiatives to advance our business objectives at the local-, state- and national-level. Role will assist team in identifying, promoting, advocating, and executing opportunities aligned with Hyundai's corporate culture, character, and mission. 
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Assist in identifying and working with external stakeholders (dealers, NGOs, governments, charities, companies) to pursue and promote CSR's key objectives.
  • Support boosting Hyundai's public image by teaming with marketing and communications to maximize visibility and amplification of CSR efforts.
  • Assist in drafting written communications, such as remarks, press releases, social posts, etc., to support CSR activations.
  • Coordinate as appropriate with the non-profit programs, Hyundai Hope on Wheels, and Genesis Inspiration Foundation, and align and support per non-profit guidelines.
  • Aid in managing financial processes, including processing payments and monthly accrual reports.
  • Support Hyundai and Genesis Public Relations teams in ad hoc requests or projects.
  • Assist in the program management of CSR activities.
  • This is a support position, focused on delivering day to day tasks and analyses with a degree of autonomy while receiving general instructions and supervision.
  • Exercise of discretion and independent judgment directly related to significant management and/or general business operations is not required. 
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two or more years with CSR, HR, public relations, or marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience in customer service and community involvement is required.
  • Understanding of social and political issues with an ability to recognize a variety of viewpoints.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Professional in behavior and appearance.
  • Able to work easily with others and in a team environment.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Understands and can easily work with common word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high stress environments.
  • AV experience is a plus.
