Position Purpose


The Logistics Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating logistics operations while providing exceptional customer service throughout the order fulfillment process. This position manages inbound and outbound shipments, shipping documentation, warehouse coordination, order processing, delivery scheduling, and customer support to ensure products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.


Working closely with internal departments, international manufacturing facilities, logistics providers, warehouses, and customers, this role serves as a key liaison throughout the supply chain. The Logistics Customer Service Coordinator maintains accurate records, supports continuous process improvements, and ensures a high level of service for both internal and external customers.


Nature and Scope


This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. The Logistics Customer Service Coordinator must effectively prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

The role works collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service, and external logistics partners across multiple regions. Success in this position requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency.


Principal Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer orders from order entry through final delivery.
  • Process customer orders and order changes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving logistics-related issues.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with manufacturing facilities, warehouses, freight carriers, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping, import, and export documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Schedule deliveries with customers, warehouses, and transportation providers.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Technical Services, Supply Chain, and Administrative teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Utilize ERP systems (such as SAP), Microsoft Office applications, and other business systems to manage orders, shipping information, inventory, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and customer service efficiency.
  • Support additional logistics and customer service initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in logistics, customer service, supply chain, order management, or sales support preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
