Summary

The Export Logistics Specialist is responsible for preparing shipping documentation, coordinating pick-up arrangements with assigned freight carriers, and supporting all EIS locations with export shipment needs. The incumbent will work closely with the EIS Export Sales Team, all EIS operations, manufacturers, production, and assist with the needs of existing customers for the team.


Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

  • Provide logistics support for our export customers and all EIS locations.
  • Prepare essential commercial (sales) documentation, shipping labels, BOLs, etc., as required for export shipment.
  • Prepare DHL shipping labels for all EIS operations through DHS’s website with organization detailed account information
  • Create commercial (sales) invoices through the export software: Shipping Solution
  • Coordinate pick up and freight arrangements with various warehouses, carriers, and manufacturers.
  • Use the Rulewave portal for outbound shipments to Schlumberger
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant export laws and regulations
  • Partner with customs brokers & 3rd part logistics companies to ensure compliance with customs regulations, including preparation and submission of required documentation
  • Assist with managing logistics related issues, including rescheduling orders, expedites, and corrective actions
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the EIS sales team, external partners, and customers.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the export shipment process
  • Provide feedback to EIS management, manufacturers, and shipping locations regarding customer needs and concerns
  • Ensure customers’ logistics related requests are fulfilled and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Train others as needed on export-related functions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize export logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required or assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience
