Job Description
Our Deer Valley Garage has an immediate opening for a Utility Worker One. The work schedule for this position is the Night Shift 1:00pm - 9:00pm
The Job Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• General shop cleanup
• Parts delivery and pickup
• Assist mechanics as needed
• Shuttle vehicles to various locations
• Tire repair and service (Upon Certification)

Minimum Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School diploma or GED
• Valid Manual Transmission Commercial Driver's License (Class "A")
  • With no mechanical restrictions (i.e., airbrakes)) and ability to meet all DOT requirements
• Pass EEI CAST Test
• Must live a reasonable distance (one (1) hour) from headquarters
• This position requires working with aerial equipment, which has weight restrictions of 300 lbs or less

Additional Requirements:

• Must be physically able to handle heavy outdoor work in extreme summer conditions
• Must be capable of operating all types of equipment and vehicles
• Be able to work under minimal supervision
• Handling and maneuvering of wheel rim assemblies weighing in excess of 120lbs may be required
• The established headquarters for this position is subject to relocation to the Hub West Service Center, a facility that will be located 38 miles west of downtown Phoenix, on a date to be determined by the company.

Testing Information
Tests are only administered to referred candidates. More information about our tests and the testing process can be found HERE.
A written [paper and pencil] test will be administered.
A test using a computer with keyboard will be administered.
A hands-on skills test will be administered.
A physical ability test will be administered.
