Division: Retail Banking
Department: Branch Admin
Reports to: Director of Retail
Status: Non-Exempt
Grade: 8
Salary Range: $21.55-$36.63
Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Location: Boston, MA
Purpose/Objective:
The primary responsibility of the Retail Management Associate is to provide support to The Division Executive, the Retail Leadership Team, and the Retail & Business Banking Division.
Key Accountabilities:
• Manages calendar and appointment scheduling for the Director of Retail Banking
• Responds to telephone calls and receives visitors to the Retail Director; redirect calls to appropriate departments requiring detailed knowledge of departments and personnel
• Reporting - Prepare various daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and other reports on an ad hoc basis. Prepare Reports in Excel, design and build PowerPoint decks for presentations by the Retail Director and Team
• Projects - Coordinate teams for special projects, schedule meetings, use smart sheets to track progress, and memorialize minutes. Example: opening a new branch
• Event Planning - Main contact/liaison with Vendors. Preparing contracts with local vendors for on /off-site events. Attend and coordinate the day of events
• Scheduling - Training, track attendance, and monitor training for the Division
• Training - Provide training on special topics
• Prepare a yearly calendar of events, training, meetings, and campaigns
• Monitoring monthly branch schedules, and reacting to emergency staffing situations
• Track and verify vacation schedules, enforcing the Division's vacation and staffing policies
• Prepare monthly expense reports for Division Executive and Division direct reports
• Assisting the Retail Leadership Team with administrative duties as needed, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, ensuring staff reviews are completed, etc.
• Attend meetings to memorialize minutes
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Education:
• Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience
Experience:
• Experience with sales, customer service, and operations of retail bank branches
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• 3 to 5 years of retail banking experience
Skills & Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of personal computers, software, and ancillary components. Specific advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be organized and possess excellent time management skills
