The Position: Expeditor

Expeditor is a mediator between servers & cooks. Inspects the quality and presentation of food from the kitchen. Organizes food and assists in running of food in order to provide guests with prompt service and the correct delivery of guests' orders.

  • Review then consult with cooks on lunch, dinner specials and soup of the day and explain to all servers, cashiers, and bus people so they can relay to guests.
  • Inspect the quality and presentation of food before it is delivered to guests.
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, in safe order, and in maintaining stock.
  • Assist food servers with the preparation and completion of plates. Gather necessary condiments, etc.
  • Organize food orders so that they are delivered in the proper order.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 1 year of experience in a Fast Food /Restaurant environment preferred.
  • Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a positive manner within constantly changing internal and external environments.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
  • Must be able to maintain composure and make effective decisions in stressful situations when dealing with challenging circumstances.
  • Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
  • Current OLCC License required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available)
