Manager, Commercial Training & Clinical Adoption


Position Overview

Perimeter Medical Imaging AI is seeking a Manager of Commercial Training & Clinical Adoption to design, build, and lead the company's commercial training infrastructure as we scale adoption of our intraoperative imaging technology.

This role sits within the commercial organization and is responsible for ensuring that Perimeter's sales team, clinical specialists, and customers are trained to successfully deploy the technology in real-world surgical workflows.

The ideal candidate will combine clinical credibility, imaging interpretation expertise, and exceptional training leadership to develop scalable training programs that drive consistent execution across the field.

The Manager, Commercial Training & Clinical Adoption will build the systems, programs, and playbooks required to scale adoption while maintaining clinical excellence.


Core Responsibilities

Clinical Workflow & Reader Training

Develop structured training programs that teach internal teams and customers how to:

  • interpret Perimeter imaging outputs
  • orient tissue correctly
  • integrate imaging into surgical workflow
  • communicate findings effectively during procedures

Over time, this individual will develop advanced reader proficiency and contribute to building internal reader competency standards.


Customer Training & Clinical Adoption

Lead programs that drive successful technology adoption within customer institutions, including:

  • physician onboarding
  • operating room staff training
  • clinical workflow integration
  • post-install training and follow-up education

Partner with the field team to ensure customers achieve consistent procedural success and confidence using the technology.


Commercial Training Strategy

Design and lead Perimeter's end-to-end commercial training ecosystem, including:

  • Sales representative onboarding
  • Clinical specialist training
  • Customer training programs
  • Reader competency development
  • Certification pathways
  • Continuing education for field teams
  • Create scalable training frameworks that enable rapid team expansion and consistent field execution.


Playbook & Training Content Development

Own the creation and evolution of Perimeter's Commercial Training Playbook, including:

  • site launch protocols
  • procedure support frameworks
  • customer adoption milestones
  • field best practices
  • reader training standards
  • Convert product capabilities and clinical evidence into practical training modules, videos, and learning programs.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with multiple internal teams to ensure training content remains accurate, relevant, and clinically sound.

Key partnerships include:


Required Experience

  • 8+ years experience in medical device, surgical technology, and clinical imaging
  • Experience supporting technologies used in surgical procedures
  • Proven experience building or delivering training programs or field enablement
  • Strong ability to translate complex clinical concepts into structured training
  • Willingness to travel extensively to support the field

Preferred

  • Background as a Clinical Applications, Field Trainer, or Clinical Education Leader
  • Experience with imaging technologies or interpretation-based devices
