    Assistant Director of Experiential Learning
    Xavier University is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Assistant Director of Experiential Learning. The work of the Assistant Director is to develop and support a program of high-impact, transformational, experiential learning opportunities for students. The work includes program management and development, internal and external communications, data collection, and internal and external reporting.
    Job Responsibilities
    • Provide leadership in the development, implementation and maintenance of high-impact experiential learning opportunities;
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and off-campus partners, which encompasses resolving and answering any questions and interpreting policies associated with participation in an experiential learning opportunity;
    • Establish and maintain internal policies and procedures in alignment with university efforts to promote and expand awareness and participation in high-impact experiential learning opportunities;
    • Promote and expand awareness and participation in quality experiential learning opportunities to students and establish relationships with the staff, faculty, and both on and off-campus community partners;
    • Maintain tracking database, collection of experiential opportunities, and other relevant engagement for statistical reporting;
    • Advise students on internship/experiential education preparation and search; and
    • Develop and facilitate workshops to help students secure, succeed in, and reflect upon their experiences.

    Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Master's degree preferred in Higher Education, Business, Counseling, or related field
    • 1-3 years of related experience
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
