Brown & Brown is seeking Executive Assistant to join our growing team in Charleston, SC!

The Executive Assistant supports the Executive team consisting of the South Carolina Office Leader and State Sales Leaders. The EA manages mostly business-related tasks for the team such as managing and coordinating schedules, creating reports, organizing travel and accommodations, preparation for all agency and leadership meetings and all other organizational tasks.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Plan and coordinate office meetings and events, including venue selection and negotiating contractual commitment of company and signing contracts, for related goods, services, and meeting spaces.
  • Coordinate coverage and procedures for the phone system.
  • Answer Executives' phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages.
  • Collect sales and revenue data from Producers and completes weekly/monthly reports.
  • File and retrieve corporate records, documents, and reports.
  • Research and gather data to prepare documents for review and presentation by leadership team, committees, and executives.
  • Assist with preparation for all meetings.
  • Assist sales and service teams with Executive Summaries and reports for clients.
  • Collect and analyze data for implications regarding budget, project and/or program initiatives.
  • Prepare agendas, notices, minutes and resolutions for leadership and other meetings.
  • Pursues a course of personal, professional development.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Notary

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • 1 – 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or financial related discipline
