Job Description

Visa Direct is a new payment service that allows clients (including issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, remitters and service providers) to facilitate domestic and cross-border fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts in the U.S. and around the world using push payment technology, i.e., Original Credit Transaction (OCT), and traditional ACH/RTP payment rails to deposit into checking accounts and wallets. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person to person (P2P) transfer, cross border remittances, funds disbursement (business to consumer or small business payments) including priority use cases of marketplace payouts, royalty and digital content payouts and gig economy services, and more.

We're looking for a driven, hungry, and entrepreneurial professional who thrives in an agile environment, loves the challenge of building and converting a high-quality pipeline, and knows how to turn bold targets into real results.As a SalesSeniorDirector, you'llberesponsible fortranslating Visa's business objectives into actionable sales strategies that accelerate net new revenue, while delivering a highly tailored approach for ourlargest and most strategic technology partners.You'll lead the full sales cycle - from strategy to execution - building high-impact partnershipswith our clients and internal cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve or exceedNorth AmericaVisa Directsales goalsin partnership with account executivesby selling toGlobal Technology Platforms and Digital Ecosystem Partners

  • Develop sales strategyfor target segmentand continuously build a pipeline ofstrategic opportunities to support these clients and ensurea high level of customer satisfaction and engagement.

  • Partner with Product, Commercialization, andMarketing to align launches, campaigns, and GTM needs

  • Representthe company with executive credibility at customer meetings, partner events, and industry conferences

  • Provide feedback to internalproductteams on market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and marketing strategies.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience

  • 10 years of executive and consultative sellingexperienceswith aBachelor'sdegree

  • Accomplished sales leader with a demonstrated ability to set overarching sales strategy

  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written, and executive presence, must be able to collaborate with our most senior client executives

  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to abroad audiencesin an approachable way to drive adoption

  • Demonstrated thought leadership and the ability to think creatively and toidentifynew ways to approach common problems

  • Passionate about what you do and excited about the opportunity to transform payments working for the industry leader

  • Ability to inspire direct reports and influence those without direct management responsibility

  • Possessa high levelof professionalism and leadership skills to build business relationships, trust and respect with business partners and suppliers

  • Strong teamplayer, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating across functional activities, obtain consensus and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately

  • Financial payment industry knowledgerequired, push payments or real-time payments experience a plus

U.S. Applicants Only

The estimated salary range for this positionis $276,900.00 to $ 443,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
