Indiana University Credit Union (IUCU) is seeking its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization’s next phase of growth, performance, and community impact. This role partners closely with the Board of Directors to set direction, ensure financial strength, and align strategy with execution.

What You Will Lead

  • Oversee financial performance, including balance sheet strategy, ALM, liquidity, and interest rate risk

  • Communicate clearly and consistently across all levels of the organization
What You Bring to the Table
  • 7–10 years of executive leadership in a financial institution (credit union preferred)
  • 15+ years in financial services with a deep understanding of credit union operations, member expectations, and cooperative principles
  • Strong financial acumen with a proven ability in balance sheet management, asset/liability management, margin optimization, liquidity, and overall financial performance
  • Demonstrated success in setting strategy and executing initiatives that meet or exceed board expectations
  • Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams, develop talent, and lead through leadership transitions while maintaining a strong, collaborative culture
  • Experience working with regulators and managing enterprise risk
  • Broad understanding of credit union operations, including lending, payments, and digital delivery channels
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with the board
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience); ongoing professional development in financial institution leadership; CCUE and/or CUDE designations preferred
