Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Lines Account Executive specializing in Transportation to join our clients' dynamic team. This is a client-facing role that requires a professional who can expertly manage and service a large book of business while building lasting relationships with clients in the transportation industry. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, particularly those related to trucking, logistics, and transportation operations, and will be committed to delivering exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.

As a Commercial Lines Account Executive - Transportation, you will serve as the primary point of contact for an established portfolio of transportation clients, handling their day-to-day insurance needs while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their coverage and protect their business operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse transportation clients, from owner-operators to large fleet operations, and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Primary ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Client Service
  • Manage and service a large book of business consisting of Commercial Lines Transportation accounts, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and professionally
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and insurance carriers, maintaining strong relationships with both parties
  • Handle all day-to-day account servicing needs including policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and general inquiries
  • Process renewals efficiently, ensuring clients receive competitive quotes and comprehensive coverage options well in advance of expiration dates
  • Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation in the agency management system
  • Respond to client communications promptly, demonstrating professionalism and expertise
Coverage Analysis & Risk Management
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of client coverages, identifying gaps in protection and potential exposures specific to transportation operations
