Why This Role Matters

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing Yacht Business Unit in Florida. This role will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of yacht and marine insurance clients while providing a high level of personalized service to clients with complex insurance needs.

The Account Executive will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing day-to-day account needs, renewals, coverage changes and carrier relationships. In addition, this position will have the opportunity to generate and earn commission on new business opportunities developed through client relationships, referrals and business development activities.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys relationship management and wants the opportunity to participate in the revenue growth of the business.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage a portfolio of yacht and marine insurance accounts, serving as a primary point of contact for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with yacht owners, captains, brokers and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage the full account lifecycle, including renewals, endorsements, policy changes and coverage reviews.
  • Proactively identify changes in client circumstances and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Work closely with insurance carriers and internal teams to obtain competitive coverage and resolve client needs.
  • Review policies and coverage with clients to ensure their insurance program appropriately addresses their risks.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through additional coverage and products.
  • Develop new business opportunities through referrals, existing relationships, networking and other business development activities.
  • Build relationships with yacht brokers, marine professionals, wealth advisors, marinas and other referral partners.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals and recommendations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate coverage, terms and pricing with carriers as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate client and opportunity information within the agency's systems and CRM.
  • Participate in relevant industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings throughout Florida.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance account management, account executive, producer or a similar client-facing role.
  • Experience with yacht, marine, personal lines or high-net-worth insurance strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, coverage structures and the account management process.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing new business opportunities.
  • Active insurance license(s) appropriate for the role and Florida market, or ability to obtain required licensing.
