Job description

PrideStaff, serving the Sacramento metro area, is assisting a client to identify candidates with the desire and aptitude to refurbish, repair, upgrade, and customize trailers. The best candidate does require extensive specific experience, but need be mechanically inclined, very comfortable with hand/mechanical tools, adaptable and trainable for this precision restoration and repair work. 
This is a standard day shift opening. 
This position includes, but is not limited to inspection, repairs, and renovation  travel trailers, focusing on plumbing, electrical, chassis, and interior components to restore functionality and safety. They diagnose issues, perform welding, fabrication, installation, replacement of worn parts (brakes, tires), and upgrade interior features like cabinets and flooring. 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Inspection & Diagnosis: Assess trailer condition to determine repair needs.
  • System Repairs: Fix plumbing, gas, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Structural & Interior Refurbishing: Repair or replace structural components, cabinetry, flooring, and appliances.
  • Chassis & Safety: Perform welding, repair brakes, tires, and suspension to meet safety standards.
  • Upgrades: Install new components, accessories, and customized features.
  • Testing: Test all systems to ensure proper functionality 

Required Skills, Qualifications or Aptitude

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and basic welding.
  • Tools: Knowledge of hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied weather conditions.
  • Experience: Previous experience in RV repair, automotive or boat restoration, manufacturing, or maintenance.
