Join the exciting team at Colton RV, where we help customers embrace the fun and freedom of the open road! We are currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and organized RV Lot Porter. In this role, you will safely maneuver RVs, travel trailers, and other vehicles around our lot—both with a company vehicle and by driving them directly—and assist with organizing our inventory to enhance the customer experience. If you’re eager to contribute to a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where selling fun is part of the job, we’d love to have you on board!

Essential Functions:

  • Safe Vehicle Movement: Operate vehicles to transport RVs, campers, and trailers of various sizes around the dealership lot, including into and out of service bays.
  • Driving Duties: Drive RVs, company vehicles, or forklift, ensuring safe and careful handling at all times.
  • Lot Organization: Maintain the cleanliness, order, and display of RV inventory, enhancing the visual appeal of the lot and creating a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Support Services: Collaborate with the sales and service teams to move inventory as needed for customer viewings, service appointments, and dealership events.
  • Traffic Flow Management: Ensure smooth traffic flow across the lot by strategically positioning vehicles and avoiding congestion.
  • Adherence to Standards: Keep the lot organized according to dealership display and safety standards, ensuring the best possible experience for both customers and staff.
  • Service Lane Assistance: Transport vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls, and parking areas as needed, helping to streamline operations.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies and procedures to protect team members, customers, and property.
  • Additional Duties: Take on other responsibilities as assigned by management to contribute to the overall success and fun atmosphere of the dealership.

At Colton RV, we don’t just sell RVs—we sell the joy and adventure of the RV lifestyle! Here’s why you’ll love working with us:

  • Fun and Engaging Workplace: Be part of a team that takes pride in making work enjoyable while creating memorable experiences for customers.
  • Opportunities for Growth: Build your skills and advance your career in a supportive and growing company.
  • Comprehensive Training: Learn how to safely and efficiently handle RVs of all sizes.
  • Competitive Compensation: Earn a competitive wage and benefits package, with perks like employee discounts on RVs and accessories.
  • Adventure Community: Work alongside passionate teammates who share your enthusiasm for the great outdoors and helping customers embark on their next journey.

Requirements:

Education, Experience, and Work Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Licensing: Valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, including drug screening.
  • Experience:
    • Preferred experience driving RVs and campers (e.g., 5th wheels, bumper pulls, Class-A, Class-C).
    • Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required—training will be provided.
