Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an Agile Project Manager. This is a contract opportunity with a potential for permanent opportunity, working for an outstanding company in the healthcare industry.
Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to support a high-visibility Procurement organization responsible for driving more than 80 strategic internal initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned project management professional who excels at managing multiple priorities, working independently, and delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
While technology project management experience is not required, candidates with procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, or supply chain experience are highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple procurement and business-focused initiatives simultaneously using Agile project management methodologies.
- Drive project planning, execution, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communications across a large portfolio of projects.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and project reviews.
- Partner with procurement leadership and cross-functional business teams to ensure project goals and deliverables are achieved.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and obstacles while proactively developing mitigation plans.
- Coordinate priorities and resources across numerous concurrent initiatives.
- Provide regular project updates and executive-level reporting to leadership stakeholders.
- Utilize project management tools to track milestones, deliverables, budgets, and project health.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Project Management experience leading complex business initiatives.
- Proven experience serving as an Agile Project Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience utilizing a variety of project management methodologies and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, contract management, or supply chain project experience.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise business transformation or operational improvement initiatives.
