Job description

A community-focused healthcare organization in northern New Hampshire, located southeast from Burlington, Vermont, is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist with supervisory experience to oversee the clinical, operational, and financial performance of its Imaging Department within a Critical Access Hospital setting as Director.

Position Highlights:

  • Lead daily operations of the Radiology Department, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
  • Oversee strategic planning, quality improvement, and service line development
  • Manage departmental budgets, capital planning, and equipment contracts
  • Drive performance through productivity, financial, and quality metrics
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, state, federal, and accreditation standards
  • Partner with physicians, leadership, and clinical teams to optimize imaging services
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development for radiology staff
  • Foster a culture of patient-centered care, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen relationships with providers and community partners
  • Support long-term growth and expansion of imaging services


Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Radiology required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Experience in radiology or imaging department leadership required
  • 5+ years of radiology experience preferred
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred
