Job Overview

Executive Glass Services, Inc. (EGS) is looking for a Project Manager to join the project management team. The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. This includes estimating and overseeing all aspects of awarded projects, ordering of materials, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of project. The Project Manager also is responsible for management of issues, risks, and projects change requests.

Executive Glass Services, Inc. (EGS) is a mid-size commercial construction company in business over 20 years with a well-established group of positive, motivated employees who enjoy working together. Position Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan, organize, and direct activities concerning the construction of interior build outs, exterior retro fit and new storefront and curtainwall projects.
  • Prepare estimates and proposals for projects consisting of interior and exterior glass and glazing.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, general contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, scheduling, and potential construction obstacles.
  • Order project specific glazing materials to complete projects.
  • Review working shop drawings and compile product specifications to be submitted for architectural and owner’s final approval.
  • Provide on-site leadership for project teams by motivating team members to meet project goals.
  • Manage day to day projects activities.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budgets, changes, risks, and issues.
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
  • Remain involved with clients for the maintenance and service needs of their project upon completion including warranty work and any new future project needs.
  • Approve labor hours for field and drafting Personnel.
  • Maintain EGS bid and awarded job folders on the EGS server for all project, bid and awarded. All awarded jobs are to be managed and kept up to date at all the times. Items include, but not limited to: Project Budget, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, RFI’s and Billings.

Position Qualifications

  • Industry experience with various sized projects, with direct experience in specifically managing large storefronts, window walls, curtain walls and other glazing systems
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Construction and/or project management professional experience
  • Understanding of billing needs, such as AIAs, change orders, PO’s, etc.
  • Comfortable communicating with external general contractors, project managers, estimators and superintendent
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience with Smartsheet preferred

Working Hours & Location

  • Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm (flexible)) w/ one work-from-home (WFH) day
