Job description

Job Title :Offering Leader, Warehouse Automation
Location: Remote with some travel required
JD:
*looking for VP level candidates*
Senior VP-level leader who can:
• Own E2E warehouse operating model (inbound, storage, picking, packing, VAS, shipping, returns).
• Create reference architectures and playbooks for brownfield and greenfield sites, including throughput modeling, labor planning, slotting, and wave strategies.
• Help define the right automation approaches (GTP, ASRS etc) for different objectives and be able to work with Industrial Engineering firms to help design the layout and automation capabilities.
• Work with Industrial Engineers and others to simulate the throughput of such a layout and automation investment and use these simulations to validate hypothesis/business case
• Partner with leading automation vendors like Honeywell, Vanderlander and interface to help client through the RFP process and select the right hardware vendor
• Build solution blueprints for sector specific needs (Retail, CPG, 3PL, Life Sciences, Industrial).
• Lead diagnostics and business case development (baseline KPIs, ROI, payback, TCO).
• Co lead pursuits with Sales; present to C suite and Ops leadership.
• Develop partner narratives with OEMs/ISVs and co sell motions.
• Mentor solution architects and analysts.
Top Skills:
• 15-20+ years in warehouse operations design & transformation (operator or warehouse layout consulting).
• Hands on with process engineering, facility layout, material flow, throughput & capacity modeling.
• Familiar with major automation modalities: AMRs/AGVs, G2P, sortation, AS/RS, shuttle systems, depalletizers, put walls, goods to-person stations.
• Deep working knowledge of WMS/WES/WCS concepts (e.g., slotting, waving, task interleaving, yard & labor management).
• Proven executive level storytelling and deal shaping experience.
• Strong industry network (operators, 3PLs, OEMs, PE/VC, and advisors).
