Job description

Apple's Worldwide Communications team informs the world and Apple employees about the company, our innovative products and services, and the values that drive everything we do.
We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a strategic partner and operational architect. In this role, you will design, build, and run the operational systems that enable a world-class communications organization to work at its best - driving planning, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple communications disciplines.
Description
You will be a trusted extension of leadership: owning day-to-day operational excellence while building strategic partnership across the team.
This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of communications and operations, and understands the rhythm, pace and scope of corporate communications work and brings the discipline to make it run with precision and scale.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years experience in communications, strategy, operations or change management
Proven ability to see the big picture and simultaneously focus to execute down to the details
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
Operational instincts paired with knowledge, experience and expertise in internal/executive communications and/or public relations; you understand how communications teams think, work, and deliver
Experience in corporate communications, media, consulting, marketing or agency environments strongly preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to design and execute operational systems from the ground up: workflows, planning cadences, playbooks, governance structures, and reporting frameworks
You quickly absorb emerging technologies and see opportunities to scale them across an organization
You have experience planning, building, presenting and operationalizing Keynote presentations, project plans and programs
Poise and confidence to lead internal initiatives, earn consensus, and engage in thoughtful and rigorous discussions with colleagues and leaders
Comfortable operating as a team and leadership representative, making decisions in ambiguous situations, and driving collaboration across groups
Committed to process excellence, continuous improvement, and raising the bar for how a team operates to deliver its best work
Curiosity and drive to learn how the team operates, with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities and moving the team forward
Expert-level proficiency in project management platforms and tools used as strategic operational systems, not just task trackers
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Project management certification is a plus
