Opportunity

We are seeking a Back of House Operations Leader (Maintenance Coach) to join our leadership team at Chick-fil-A Medina. This hands-on leadership opportunity combines kitchen operations, team development, facilities stewardship, and preventative maintenance. You will help lead daily Back of House operations, develop Team Members and future leaders, and ensure the restaurant consistently delivers remarkable food quality, food safety, and operational excellence.

Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you will learn how to manage systems, coach and develop others, improve efficiency, and create a culture of accountability and ownership. You will also play an important role in maintaining the restaurant's equipment and facilities, helping protect the tools and systems that allow our team to operate at a high level.

This is not a traditional maintenance position. We are looking for a leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of the details that drive a successful kitchen operation.

  • Building high-performance teams, identifying and coaching leaders for Back of House
  • Manage a team of 50+, creating an inspiring vision, coaching and holding people accountable to high standards
  • Increasing profitability through implementing procedures to reduce costs, increase productivity, and managing lean inventory systems.
  • Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food & team safety

Background Profile

  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a workplace environment
  • Experience leading people in a fast-paced setting
  • Comfortable working in both operational and hands-on environments
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work open availability
  • Desire to develop others and lead through servant leadership
  • Experience in restaurants, facilities, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, skilled trades, military leadership, or operations leadership is preferred
  • Technical training, trade school, OSHA certifications, or maintenance experience is a plus
  • Must have basic understanding of kitchen operations
  • Hospitality experience (preferred)
