NOTICE

SpecialtyRx is seeking an Account Executive located in Central/Eastern Kentucky.

The Account Executive will service and oversee relationships with long-term care facilities and assisted living communities throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky. Under the general supervision of the Account Executive Manager, the Account Executive will perform these responsibilities in accordance with all applicable local, state, federal, and company laws, policies, and procedures.

The Account Executive must have a strong understanding of SpecialtyRx's services and solutions in order to provide effective support and maintain long-term client relationships. This position requires excellent customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, while consistently demonstrating SpecialtyRx's mission and values.

Account Executive Responsibilities

  • Schedule and perform routine visits to assigned facilities throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky.
  • Respond to inquiries from client facilities in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client needs and provide appropriate support and solutions.
  • Work closely with pharmacy staff to obtain information, communicate updates to client facilities, and resolve facility issues.
  • Perform audits of medication and treatment carts to assist facilities with survey preparation.
  • Audit antibiotic, PO/IV, and backup boxes to ensure appropriate par levels are maintained and medications are not expired.
  • Audit emergency boxes to ensure proper seals are in place and medications are not expired.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Administrators and Directors of Nursing at client facilities.
  • Restock and assist with the management and handling of CUBEX machines and ADS systems.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed to support client facilities and maintain strong relationships.

Account Executive Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
  • CUBEX/ADS experience preferred.
  • Nursing home or assisted living experience required/preferred.
  • Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Pharmacy background preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare procedures and long-term care operations.
  • Ability to make quick decisions, establish priorities, and concentrate on detailed information.
  • Driven, motivated, and resourceful problem-solver.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky.
