Lone Star Paving is a paving contractor operating in the Central Texas region with paving crews, HMA, aggregate, trucking, milling, and quality control. Our operations complete heavy highway and civil projects throughout Texas. We pride ourselves in being a family-oriented organization with a goal of upholding the safety and health of our number one asset, our employees. Position OverviewThe Office Administrator will work with various departments and teams to ensure organization, execution, and upkeep of essential office functions. The ideal candidate is familiar with data entry, filing, and computer systems and has a thorough understanding of business logistics. Key Responsibilities Answering phone calls and directing callers to the correct point of contactOnsite greeting and direction of employees and guestsOrdering, stocking, and keeping up to date inventory of office and kitchen suppliesPlanning, ordering, and presenting planned employee lunches and functionsReceive incoming Mail/Fedex/UPS, sort, scan, and distributeSend outgoing Mail/Fedex/UPSDelivery receipt, alert, and distributionCoordination of daily use, supplies, and maintenance for Print, Scan, and ShredConcur – scan receipts, upload, and save expense reportsAssist with hotel reservations and travel plans for executive teamCreating, maintaining, and updating conference room calendarKey distribution tracking for office staffAdditional duties and responsibilities as assigned   Qualifications1+ year experienceHigh School diploma or equivalent recommended, but not requiredDual language – English and Spanish (Preferred but not required)Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.Must be positive, friendly, and professional.Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting.Must demonstrate professional communication in reaching out to employees, managers, and clientele for needed information, documentation, etc.Willingness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as they arise.Exhibit excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize various tasks and complete them in a timely manner.Able to perform duties independently.Promote a team approach and maintain dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas.Collaborate with any project teams on other special initiatives, as required.Punctuality to work schedule and duties. Knowledge/Skill RequirementsEntry Level Position Working ConditionsWork will be performed in office setting- must be in San Antonio area.Full time, hourly.
