Job description

Appointment Setter (Outbound Sales) – $20/hr + Bonuses | No Cold Random Calling

Mundelein, IL (Custom Installations)

Make Calls. Book Appointments. Get Paid for Results.

If you've worked in call center, inside sales, or appointment setting and you're tired of low-impact roles where effort doesn't equal pay - this is different.

At Custom Installations, your job is simple:
Turn warm + targeted homeowner leads into booked roof inspections
Get rewarded for performance - not just showing up

This is a high-activity, high-impact role where top performers stand out quickly.

Compensation:  $20/hour + bonuses per booked and completed appointments
Most team members earn $50K–$65K+ annually

  • $20/hour base

  • Per-appointment commission (uncapped)

  • Performance bonuses tied to booked + completed appointments

  • Clear path to increase earnings fast based on output

What You'll Actually Do

  • Call targeted homeowner lists (NOT random cold dialing)

  • Work leads already touched by marketing (email/text campaigns, storm leads, inbound inquiries)

  • Ask smart questions and guide homeowners to book inspections

  • Handle objections confidently and keep conversations moving

  • Follow up consistently until the lead is closed or qualified out

  • Log activity and outcomes in CRM

What This Is NOT

  • Not customer service

  • Not a passive inbound role

  • Not "dial and hope"

This is a results-driven outbound sales role.

 Who Succeeds Here

  • You've done appointment setting, call center, telemarketing, or inside sales

  • You're comfortable making 50–100+ calls/day

  • You don't get discouraged by objections - you work through them

  • You stay consistent, organized, and focused during call blocks

  • You want a role where performance = more money

Bonus points if you've worked in:

  • Home services (roofing, windows, siding)

  • Insurance or restoration sales

  • Lead follow-up / reactivation campaigns

What Success Looks Like (First 30–60 Days)

  • Fully ramped on call scripts and systems

  • Consistently booking qualified appointments

  • Building pipeline from existing and aged leads

  • Becoming a go-to for conversion improvement

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, daytime calling hours (9am–5pm typical)
