About the Role

We're looking for a charismatic, people-first Robotics Demo Specialist to join our Irvine headquarters.

This role sits at the intersection of robotics, storytelling, and customer experience - helping customers, partners, and investors understand and believe in the future FieldAI is building.

This is not an engineering role - it's a performance and experience role. You'll be the person who makes our technology come alive for visitors walking through our doors. You'll often be the first person customers and investors meet when visiting FieldAI.

Think of yourself as part tour guide, part storyteller, part product ambassador - someone who can take cutting-edge autonomous robotics and make it feel accessible, exciting, and real.

What You Will Do
  • Deliver engaging, in-person demonstrations at FieldAI's Irvine HQ for customers, prospects, partners, and investors
  • Learn FieldAI's robotics platform and autonomy technology well enough to confidently explain and demonstrate it to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Adapt your presentation style to different visitors - from enterprise executives and operators to curious first-time guests
  • Create memorable, high-energy experiences that leave visitors excited about what FieldAI is building
  • Confidently host live walkthroughs, presentations, and interactive demonstrations
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to align demo narratives with customer conversations and business priorities
  • Coordinate demo schedules, visitor flow, and overall demo readiness
  • Help prepare and maintain the demo space, robots, and equipment used during live showcases
  • Collect and relay feedback from demo sessions to help improve messaging, presentations, and the overall visitor experience
  • Stay calm, adaptable, and professional during live demos and fast-moving situations
  • Occasionally support trade shows, customer events, and offsite demonstrations
What You Have
  • A natural performer - engaging, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoyable to be around
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; you make complex ideas feel simple, exciting, and memorable
  • Confidence presenting live and commanding a room
  • Professional, polished, and highly reliable - you represent FieldAI every time someone walks in
  • Comfortable learning technical concepts quickly without needing a formal engineering background
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, adaptable attitude and ability to think on your feet
  • Must be local to Irvine/Orange County or nearby (this is a fully on-site role - no remote or hybrid)
Compensation
The salary range for this role is dependent upon experience. The actual offer for this position will be based on factors such as relevant experience, competencies, certifications, and how well the candidate meets the qualifications outlined above. Part of our compensation package also includes full benefits, equity, and generous time.

Field AI Onsite Work Philosophy

At Field AI, we believe the most effective way to collaborate and solve complex challenges is by working together in person. This is a fully onsite role, and candidates will be expected to work from our Mission Viejo, CA office. In-person engagement is essential to our success, and we offer flexible working hours to support focus and work-life balance.

We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
