First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN First Assist for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield, California.

Common Cases Ortho: totals-knees, hips, shoulders; knee and shoulder scopes, TSAs (a lot); Urology-don't do many nephrectomies but everything else from cystos, ESWLs, TURPS, penile prothesis, orchiectomies, open prostates (not required); GYN-lots of hysters, D&C, slings, robotic hysters, a lot of GYN oncology, salphingooophrectomy; neuro- a lot of ortho spine, brain tumors, cranis, subdural hematomas, transsphenoidal tumors, VP shunts; hands, podiatry, DaVinci, vascular-a lot of small stuff AV fistulas, thrombectomies, carotids, endarterectomies, fem pops-open; general surgery-open, lap, robotics; ENT-tonsils, adenoids, pediatrics ENT, bariatrics, and eyes Experience or 'Must have' skills Ortho, robotics (deal breaker if they do not have experience), neuro, gyn (SW) experience. Scrubbing required - RN's Yes Is there a Charge Nurse &/or House Supervisor on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Charge - No assignment unless short staffed
