Job description

Family Assistant Position

A warm, collaborative, and engaged family relocating from Los Angeles to Tribeca, New York is seeking an exceptional Full-Time Family Assistant to become an integral part of their long-term household team. This role is ideal for a career nanny/family assistant who loves supporting children while also assisting with household operations. The family is really looking for a collaborative partner who can help support the family as they build a new life in New York City.

The family has three wonderful children: a 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old twin boys. Both boys are neurodiverse and have ADHD and are very engaging and sweet. The boys do benefit from additional support with self-regulation, executive functioning, and transitions. They are bright, kind, active children who respond best to caregivers with calm, regulated personalities and strong emotional intelligence. Their daughter is academically curious, creative, and enjoys engaging conversations, reading, music, and art.

This family values teamwork, open communication, and flexibility. They are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, eager to learn new skills, and excited to collaborate with the parents, therapists, teachers, and other household staff.

As the family transitions from California to New York, this person will play an important role in helping establish routines, organizing the household, building community, and becoming a trusted long-term member of the family's support system. The children will remain the primary focus of the role, but they are looking for someone who has a no job too small mentality.

The family has a sweet and active one year old golden retriever.
