Position Overview
As the Executive Administrator for BWXT Enrichment Operations, you will provide high-level administrative, operational, and governance support to senior leadership within the Oak Ridge organization. You will be a trusted partner responsible for coordinating executive schedules, managing sensitive communications, supporting governance activities, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across the executive office. The role requires exceptional judgment, confidentiality, professional presence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-trust environment.

Your Day to Day as an Executive Administrator
  • Manages complex executive calendars, meetings, and coordination across multiple time zones.
  • Prepares, edits, and distributes correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, and briefing materials.
  • Arranges and oversees domestic and international travel, itineraries, accommodations, and related expense reports.
  • Supports executive and committee governance activities, including meeting minutes, document preparation, and tracking follow-up items.
  • Receives, prioritizes, and routes incoming communications and confidential information.
  • Coordinates office operations including supplies, vendors, facilities needs, IT/HR support, and conference room scheduling.
  • Assists with executive onboarding, evaluations, disclosures, and maintenance of governance records.
  • Supports planning of executive events, leadership visits, and internal meetings.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree required; advanced degree or related certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in senior executive support, governance coordination, or similar high-level administrative roles.
  • Professional presence with exceptional judgment and the ability to manage high-level interactions with Board members, investors, and C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to draft and edit high-stakes materials with precision.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven success managing complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and solutions-oriented, with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with board portal systems.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting executives in industrial, manufacturing, government contracting, or nuclear-sector environments.
  • Experience coordinating multi-department or regional office operations.
  • SHRM-CP or administrative professional certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay: $60,000 - $90,000
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $90,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
