Job description

Administrative Assistant (Executive Support) | $25/hr | Full-Time Temporary


United Staffing Solutions (USS) is partnering with a well-established, industry-leading electronics retailer in Midtown Manhattan to hire an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide executive support during a maternity leave. This is a full-time, approximately 3-month temporary assignment supporting a Director overseeing multiple operational departments (Logistics/Fulfillment/Maintenance).


Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM & Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: Midtown Manhattan, Fully onsite

Assignment Duration: Approximately 3-month temporary assignment

Pay: $25/hour


Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant:

As the Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping executive operations running smoothly by:

  • Managing a busy executive calendar and coordinating scheduling priorities
  • Managing a high-volume executive email inbox
  • Preparing meeting agendas, presentations, and supporting materials
  • Coordinating meetings and adjusting schedules as priorities change
  • Following up on action items and helping move projects forward
  • Communicating with internal teams to keep projects, meetings, and deadlines on track
  • Handling administrative tasks with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Providing general executive support as needed


Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:

  • Previous experience supporting an executive, director, or senior leader
  • Strong calendar management and scheduling experience
  • Experience managing executive email inboxes
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Professional, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting leadership
