Executive Driver information

What is an executive driver?

Executive drivers are professional chauffeurs responsible for transporting company executives, VIPs, or high-profile clients safely and efficiently. They typically operate luxury vehicles and ensure a high level of discretion, punctuality, and professionalism. In addition to driving, executive drivers may assist with scheduling, route planning, and providing security as needed. Their role often requires excellent knowledge of local areas, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as an executive driver?

To thrive as an Executive Driver, you need a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, knowledge of local routes, and often previous professional driving experience. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, luxury vehicle operation, and sometimes defensive driving certifications is important. Discretion, punctuality, and strong interpersonal skills set top candidates apart in this role. These skills ensure executives are transported safely, efficiently, and with the utmost professionalism, reflecting positively on the organization.

How does an executive driver coordinate with executives and their assistants to ensure timely and efficient transportation?

Executive drivers work closely with executives and their assistants to plan routes, adjust to last-minute schedule changes, and accommodate special requests. They often use real-time communication tools, such as messaging apps or direct phone calls, to receive updates and instructions throughout the day. Building strong, professional relationships with both executives and support staff is essential for anticipating needs and providing a seamless transportation experience. Flexibility and discretion are key, as priorities can shift quickly in a fast-paced corporate environment.

What is the difference between Executive Driver vs Chauffeur?

While the roles overlap in credentials and environment, Executive Drivers emphasize corporate and executive transport, whereas Chauffeurs focus on luxury and personalized service.

Job description

Job Title: Operations Performance Coordinator

Location: Puerto Rico

Reports to: Deputy Operations Manager

Compensation Range: $22–$27 per hour

About Ceres Caribe

Ceres Caribe was founded in Puerto Rico in 1998 after Hurricane Georges. It has since grown to be one of the largest employers by providing careers on the island. Ceres Caribe is recognized for its rapid disaster recovery including debris removal, demolition, and blue roofs. We perform resiliency services, including vegetation management and utility line clearing for the Puerto Rican power grid. The company is expanding its efforts to assist in securing the power grid for the Island.

Driven by Purpose, Powered by People

At Ceres Caribe, we believe you're more than just an employee; you're part of a team with a purpose and a meaningful mission. Whether in management, field operations, or behind the scenes, every team member plays a vital role in restoring hope, helping communities recover and rebuild.

We value initiative, respect diversity, and give our people the freedom to lead. We offer competitive pay, travel opportunities, and a culture built on resilience and teamwork. If you show up with compassion, share the commitment, react with urgency, and deliver solutions, you'll fit right in. We don't just respond to challenges; we rise to them.

What We Are Looking For

The Operations Performance Coordinator serves as the strategic “eyes and ears” for the Operations Manager within Ceres Caribe’s utility line-clearing division. This role sits at the center of operational visibility, consolidating regional data, monitoring field activities, and ensuring leadership has accurate, real-time insight into productivity, compliance, and asset readiness.

The role collaborates daily with Deputy Operations Managers and field leadership across Puerto Rico.

Success in the first 12 months includes establishing a reliable weekly operations briefing system, improving asset-tracking accuracy, strengthening NNC resolution tracking, and enhancing communication flow between regional teams and executive leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Gather, audit, and synthesize weekly operational data from the Operations Manager into a unified executive-ready report.
  • Monitor fleet and equipment inventory—including bucket trucks, pickups, chainsaws, and PPE—and integrate asset status into weekly briefings.
  • Partner with regional managers to forecast equipment shortages, identify urgent tool needs, and support streamlined supply chain fulfillment.
  • Conduct periodic field and yard inspections across Puerto Rico to verify inventory and strengthen regional coordination.
  • Design and prepare comprehensive weekly operations status briefings for the Operations Manager.
  • Use Survey123 to track real-time crew locations, field productivity, and active work zones.
  • Maintain a centralized log of Notices of Non-Conformance (NNCs) and track regional progress toward resolution.
  • Coordinate and track utility outage requests to ensure safe, efficient field execution across regions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal operational standards, reporting protocols, and safety expectations.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director.

Required Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years supporting senior operations executives, preferably in utility contracting, tree care, or linear infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing equipment inventory, logistics, or fleet data tracking.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data manipulation, and dashboard formatting.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for field and yard visits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience using Survey123 to extract, view, and analyze field-collected data.
  • Experience working within vegetation management, utility line clearing, or disaster recovery operations.
  • Familiarity with asset-tracking systems or operational reporting platforms.
  • Ability to design executive-level dashboards and reporting templates.

What to Expect

This is a summary of a realistic job preview aligned with duties, expectations, work conditions, schedule, travel and culture.

In this role, you will work closely with regional operations teams and executive leadership to maintain real-time visibility into field activities, asset readiness, and operational compliance. Expect a blend of office-based reporting work and occasional field/yard visits across Puerto Rico. Weekly deliverables include consolidated operational briefings, updated inventory status, NNC tracking, and outage coordination logs.

The schedule is full-time, with occasional travel required to verify equipment, meet with regional managers, and support operational needs. You will operate in a fast-paced environment where urgency, accuracy, and clear communication are essential. Collaboration, resilience, and adaptability are key to thriving in this role.

Physical Requirements and Environment

Ceres provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities and to applicants with sincerely held religious beliefs, as required by law.

  • Ability to travel to field and yard locations across Puerto Rico.
  • Willingness to wear PPE (hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, etc.) during site visits when required.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments during inspections, including exposure to heat, humidity, uneven terrain, and active work zones.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Commitment to following all safety standards and protocols.

Why Join Ceres Caribe?

At Ceres Caribe, you won't just have a job, you'll have a mission. Your work will directly impact the speed and strength of community recovery after disasters.

We offer:

  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • The chance to make a lasting difference for communities.

Ceres Caribe is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to age, race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, religion, disability, pregnancy, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
