Job description

LLE Education is looking for enthusiastic and childcare professionals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of our students. Our schools are growing & thriving, and we are so excited to welcome new educators to our family.
As a Director in Training, you will have the benefit of gaining insight and resources with hands-on training as well as participating in on-site projects and tasks to prepare yourself to successfully lead your own school.
What you have:
  • Early childhood professional credential such as a CDA, CCP or AAS in early childhood education; Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations relevant to the operations of a childcare facility
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision and training, and instruction methods, programs, philosophies and theories relevant to the operation to the operation of a childcare facility
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills and the ability to communicate to a wide-ranging audience including those with varied educational levels and backgrounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and management of budgets
  • At least one year of experience in a supervisory role
  • At least two years of experience as a classroom teacher or childcare provider

What you will do:
  • You will be trusted with a wide range of tasks that will be essential to the smooth running of the school as well as to the educational development of the children
  • Assist the Director with the operation of the school, ensuring that the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards
  • Be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring and safe environment for the children and parents
  • Spark imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day
  • Teach, educate and monitor children as needed
  • Assist Director in staff development and training
  • Attend meetings as necessary to aid in business and organizational development as directed by the District Director or his/her supervisors
  • Travel to multiple childcare centers in the area to both assist and learn
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation:
  • The annual salary range for this position is between $55,000 - $60,000.
  • The pay range listed here is what LLE Group in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
  • Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
