Job description

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the organization’s risk management program.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate clinical, operational, and regulatory risks.
  • Review adverse events, incidents, claims, and patient-safety concerns.
  • Lead root-cause analyses and support corrective action planning.
  • Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, quality, compliance, legal, and executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
  • Current New Mexico RN license or active multistate RN license – required
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing –required
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare risk management, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Certification:
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred at time of hire
  • CPHRM certification must be obtained within 3 years of employment
