This position is responsible for managing the organization's complaint and grievance process; investigating adverse events and other reported events to facilitate understanding of care processes; improving patient satisfaction through direct interactions with patients, family, and other staff members, and working with leadership to address recurrent process problems. Provides oversight for the Patient Advocacy Program.
Requirements:
- BSN degree or bachelor's degree in health care related field.
- Five years of quality improvement experience in a health care environment required.
- National Association for Health Care Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
- VT RN license
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS). One designation must be achieved within one year of eligibility of certification.
