Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design Specialist to directly support our B2B Sales team.  This individual will:
 
  • Lead the development of innovative retail display solutions that increase brand visibility, shopper engagement, and sales performance across national consumer electronics retail channels
  • Be responsible for transforming sales strategies, product information, customer data, and business concepts into professional, persuasive, and visually compelling presentations

The ideal candidate:
 
  • Combines visual merchandising, shopper marketing, industrial design and retail fixture engineering expertise to create impactful in-store experiences for products such as charging devices, audio equipment, personal care / beauty tools, and other consumer electronics
  • Combines strong graphic and presentation design skills with an understanding of B2B sales and consumer products. This person should be able to take complex or unstructured information and turn it into a clear, concise story that helps the sales team communicate value and win business

The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership, sales, marketing, product management, retailers, and manufacturing partners to develop displays and presentations that are visually compelling, cost-effective, durable, and compliant with retailer requirements
This is a full-time position, fully on-site at our Brooklyn headquarters’ location
 


Key Responsibilities
 
  • Design permanent and temporary point-of-sale displays, endcaps, kiosks, countertop units, and freestanding display fixtures.
  • Develop creative concepts that showcase consumer electronics products while reinforcing brand identity.
  • Produce 2D and 3D renderings, CAD drawings, prototypes, and production specifications
  • Create display systems optimized for retailer environments and varying store footprints
  • Ensure displays effectively highlight product features, demonstrations, and interactive experiences
  • Develop compelling presentations for new business pitches, customer meetings, product introductions, line reviews, annual business reviews, and strategic account presentations
  • Partner directly with sales executives to understand the objective of each presentation and translate their ideas into a clear and persuasive visual story
  • Transform product specifications, sales data, market information, pricing, competitive analysis, and other business information into easy-to-understand slides, charts, graphics, and infographics
  • Develop presentations showcasing the company's consumer product portfolio, product features, competitive advantages, pricing strategies, merchandising programs, and promotional opportunities
  • Customize sales presentations for individual customers, industries, retailers, distributors, corporate accounts, and other B2B channels
  • Develop templates and presentation standards that provide the sales organization with a consistent and professional brand image
  • Create visually compelling product comparison charts, sales performance graphics, market opportunity slides, timelines, organizational charts, and other presentation graphics
 


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Architecture, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience designing retail displays, POP/POS materials, or visual merchandising solutions
  • 2+ years of experience putting presentations together for sales pitches and new business development efforts
  • Experience within consumer electronics, technology products, or retail merchandising preferred
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating retail fixture / display design projects and business presentations
  • Proficient in using AI software as a tool to enhance performance, save time and improve overall quality of work
  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp, or Fusion 360, AutoCAD, KeyShot or other rendering software 
  • Experience working with major retailers a plus (Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Costco, etc.).
  • Understanding of shopper marketing and retail merchandising principles
