What is an executive controller?

Executive Controllers are senior financial professionals responsible for overseeing an organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. They play a key role in developing financial strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing accurate financial data for decision-making. Typically, Executive Controllers manage accounting teams, coordinate audits, and work closely with other executives to support the organization's overall financial health.
