Position
Title: Translator (Burmese Chin)
Reports to: Owner/Executive Director
Compensation:
    • Mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities and Duties
    • Provide interpretation and translation support for Burmese and Chin-speaking families during ABA assessments, parent training meetings, and ongoing communication
    • Assist families with questions, concerns, and care coordination on an as-needed (PRN) basis
    • Provide administrative support as assigned, including documentation assistance and communication facilitation between staff and families

What We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Fluency in Burmese and/or Chin (spoken and written)
    • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
    • Pass background checks and drug screening
    • Flexible availability based on client and organizational needs

Preferred Experience
    • Experience in interpretation, translation, or community support roles
    • Experience working with diverse populations or within healthcare, education, or social services
    • Familiarity with ABA services or working with individuals with developmental differences
