Job Summary

The Executive Assistant to the Diversified Commercial Solutions Senior Vice President serves as a trusted business partner, providing highlevel administrative, operational, and strategic support in a fastpaced, highly confidential executive environment. This role requires exceptional judgment, proactive problemsolving, and the ability to manage complex priorities across internal and external stakeholders. The Executive Assistant acts as an extension of the SVP, enabling focus on enterprise strategy, leadership, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SVP, including complex calendar management, meeting prioritization, and coordination across multiple time zones.
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal use of executive time.
  • Manage travel logistics (air, hotel, ground transportation), itineraries, and expenses in compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare, proofread, and format executivelevel communications, presentations, and key documents.

Strategic & Operational Support

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner by understanding the SVP's priorities, business objectives, and operating cadence.
  • Coordinate executive meetings, leadership forums, and offsites, including agenda development, materials preparation, and followup on action items.
  • Track deliverables, commitments, and deadlines across initiatives to ensure timely execution.
  • Support special projects and crossfunctional initiatives requiring executivelevel visibility and coordination.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Act as a primary point of contact between the SVP and senior leaders, external partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships across executive assistants, leadership teams, and functional partners to streamline communication and workflows.
  • Exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive, confidential, or timecritical matters.

Confidentiality & Judgment

  • Handle highly sensitive and proprietary information with diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Independently resolve issues within scope and escalate appropriately when needed.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise culture, executive presence, and organizational dynamics.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of progressive experience providing executivelevel administrative support, including direct support to VPlevel or above leaders.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars, travel, and executive communications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication (written and verbal), and timemanagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting Csuite or SVPlevel executives in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or highly regulated industries.
  • Strong project coordination skills and comfort operating with ambiguity.
  • Preference is for a hybrid position that requires 2-3 days per week in the Hartford, CT office.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$22.59 - $53.95

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
