Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Boston, MA - 2-3 days onsite, others remote!

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $35-$38/hr

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire (Permanent after 6 months)


Overview

Under minimal supervision, the Executive Assistant I provides high-level administrative support primarily to Vice Presidents and above or a comparable level executive. Work requires some analysis and use of initiative and independent judgement. The Executive Assistant I is often called upon to communicate on behalf of executive(s) to other employees. The Executive Assistant I conducts work assignments of increasing complexity with some latitude for independent judgement and remains knowledgeable of corporate policies.

Must-Have Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex calendar management, including coordinating high-volume schedules, resolving conflicts, prioritizing competing demands, and managing shifting executive priorities.
  • Experience coordinating executive travel arrangements and high-profile events, including academic conferences, research presentations, faculty meetings, leadership events, and other complex logistical activities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-touch, high-frequency support model, responding quickly to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to receive and implement direct feedback professionally, adapting quickly and continuously improving performance without becoming defensive.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership, physicians, faculty, researchers, and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting healthcare, academic medicine, research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or financial services leaders.
  • Prior experience supporting physician executives, department chairs, division chiefs, or research leadership teams
