We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant to Operations to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to support daily administrative functions, streamline office procedures, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Bilingual proficiency is preferred to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and clients. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office workflows and ensuring exceptional customer support.
a.    Technical Requirements
•    Chemical Engineer (could be student in the 4th or 5th year)
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
•    Good communication skills in English and Spanish
•    Willing to work as a member of a multifunctional team 
b.    Responsibilities
•    Support Management of Change process including initiation of requests, review and approval of submitted requests, training, pre-start up safety reviews and communication of changes across departments.
•    Responsible for maintaining the Operating Asset Utilization (OAU) data for assigned process.
•    Provide operator and supervisor training programs.
•    Represents his/her group in plant team activities such as projects, 5s, Root Cause Failure Analysis, PHA, monthly PSM meeting among others.
•    Generate Quality Bulletin instructions as required for assigned processes.  
•    Participate on daily mornings meetings.
•    Support quality investigations for assigned processes.  
•    Generate meeting minutes as required for meetings.
