  • Prior FQHC or community health center experience
  • Spanish language ability (interpreters available on-site)
  • Experience leading clinical teams through a facility expansion or integration of new service lines
  • Comfort with EHR-driven workflows and AI-supported clinical documentation tools

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $290,000 โ€“ $350,000+, commensurate with experience
  • Incentives: Production and quality-based plan to be co-designed with the incoming CMO
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation: Both fully supported to meet market norms
  • PTO: 30 days year one, 35 days from year two; 11 paid holidays; floating birthday/anniversary holiday
  • CME: 40 hours per year plus $3,000 annual reimbursement (rolls over up to $6,000)
  • Medical: Employer pays 99% of monthly premium up to $1,150; balance applies to dependents
  • Dental, vision, life (up to $175K), long-term disability, EAP: 100% employer paid
  • Retirement: 401(k) with 5% employer match, fully vested at 1,000 hours
  • Schedule: Full-time, Mโ€“F, with flexibility (4x10s and other combinations considered)

Why This Role

  • True executive ownership over clinical strategy and provider leadership
  • A CEO who wants a partner, not a subordinate
  • A stable, mission-driven organization with deep community ties
  • Northern California lifestyle

Northern California offers a quality of life that's hard to match: temperate year-round climate, easy access to both the Pacific coast and the Sierra Nevada, and a community pace that prioritizes balance over burnout. Outdoor recreation is at the doorstep: hiking, cycling, wine country, redwoods, rivers, and ocean within easy reach.

Major metro amenities (San Francisco, Sacramento) are a short drive when you want them, and a comfortable distance when you don't. Strong public schools, a robust food and arts scene, and tight-knit communities make this a place professionals put down roots.  Not just a stop along the way.

(All inquiries are handled confidentially. Client name, exact location, and full position details are released only after an initial recruiter conversation.

PX3 Medical is a physician and healthcare executive search firm. Equal opportunity employer.)
