Valley Cabinet Inc. is seeking a driven and strategic Divisional Sales Leader to oversee and execute the sales strategy for one of the company’s four divisions. This role is responsible for leading division-level sales performance, supporting key customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and ensuring alignment with company-wide sales objectives established by the Director of Sales.

The Divisional Sales Leader will serve as the primary sales authority for their assigned division, working closely with internal operations, design, estimating, and executive leadership to deliver consistent results across all sites supporting the division.

Key Responsibilities

Division Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy for the assigned division in alignment with company-wide goals.
  • Translate corporate sales initiatives into actionable division-level plans.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs specific to the division.
  • Drive division revenue growth through new business development and account expansion.

Sales Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and support the division’s sales representatives, account managers, and related staff.
  • Establish clear sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability structures.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training sales talent within the division.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and results.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Own and manage key customer relationships within the division, including strategic accounts and high-value projects.
  • Partner with customers to understand project needs, timelines, and service expectations.
  • Support negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract development.
  • Ensure consistent customer communication and issue resolution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, production, design, and project management teams to ensure sales commitments align with operational capabilities.
  • Coordinate division forecasting, scheduling needs, and pipeline planning.
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation efforts and division-specific positioning.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Monitor division sales metrics, pipeline activity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Provide regular performance updates to the Director of Sales.
  • Use CRM tools and reporting dashboards to track opportunities and sales effectiveness.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, pricing, or customer strategies based on data and trends.


Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–8+ years of experience in sales, with leadership responsibilities preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in construction materials, cabinetry, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Strong ability to build customer relationships and lead teams.

Preferred

  • Experience managing sales within a multi-site or regional division structure.
  • Familiarity with custom cabinetry, commercial construction, or millwork environments.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and performance analytics.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following:
  • This role primarily operates in an office environment, with travel required to manage remote locations, customer and builder meetings, and industry events.
  • Standard office hours apply, with flexibility required to meet deadlines or accommodate business needs.
  • The position may involve occasional pressure due to time-sensitive projects or competing priorities.
