Job description

Executive Assistant LHH Recruitment is working on an Executive Assistant opportunity to support the Owner of a growing transportation company in Chandler. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EA who enjoys being a true right hand to leadership and wants a position that goes well beyond traditional administrative responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys variety, can confidently manage competing priorities, and is energized by special projects, ad hoc requests, research, problem-solving, and helping the business operate more efficiently.
This is not a role where every day will look the same. You will work closely with the Owner and become a trusted resource across a variety of business initiatives and operational needs. The schedule is Monday-Friday, fully onsite. Salary range is between 80k-90k.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the Owner
  • Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, correspondence, and follow-up
  • Coordinate schedules and ensure priorities are handled efficiently
  • Prepare meeting materials, reports, presentations, and other business documents
  • Assist with tracking projects, deadlines, and action items
  • Handle confidential and sensitive business information with discretion
  • Take ownership of special projects and ad hoc assignments from the Owner
  • Conduct research and gather information to support business decisions
  • Assist with organizing and improving internal processes and workflows
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and other business contacts as needed
  • Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization
  • Assist with basic reporting, data organization, and administrative analysis
  • Support various operational and business initiatives outside of traditional EA responsibilities
  • Step in wherever needed to help the Owner and company stay organized and productive
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3-5+ years of Executive Assistant experience
  • Experience supporting an executive, owner, president, CEO, or other senior leader strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Highly proactive and able to work independently without constant direction
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Professional, polished, and confident communication style
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate:
  • Enjoys special projects and ad hoc assignments
  • Doesn't need every task to be clearly defined before getting started
  • Is comfortable being the "go-to" person for the Owner
  • Can switch gears quickly when priorities change
  • Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
  • Enjoys learning different areas of a business
  • Is naturally curious and likes figuring out how things work
  • Can research a problem, identify a solution, and see it through
  • Is comfortable wearing many hats
