THE GIST:
Our client, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund in New York City, seeks a razor-sharp Senior Executive Assistant to support their Founder. This is a unique opportunity spanning Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, and operational support responsibilities. The role is intentionally designed to bring structure, clarity, and operational excellence to a dynamic professional and personal environment. The ideal candidate has supported senior executives in finance, consulting, investing, public markets, or high-growth tech and will bring their strong operational mindset to the position.

THE NITTY GRITTY:
  • Own operational cadence and calendar management, maintaining a rolling 24-48 hour view of priorities, meetings, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution
  • Prepare research materials, organize notes and data, capture meeting outcomes, and manage follow-ups to support investment workflows
  • Ensure tight coordination across stakeholders and maintain forward momentum on key initiatives
  • Design and implement scalable systems that support the Founder's time allocation, priorities, and decision-making
  • Serve as an accountability partner, ensuring follow-through on agreed priorities and commitments
  • Create and maintain clear, centralized views of projects, initiatives, and obligations
  • Bring structure and intentionality to personal and family scheduling, including children's activities, commitments, and travel logistics
  • Oversee high-level personal financial tracking (bills, payments, and related logistics)
  • Research and manage "life design" initiatives, including travel planning, home projects, and systems that support a thoughtful and well-run household
THE ESSENTIALS:
  • 5+ years of experience as an EA in finance or a high-growth tech company
  • Experience supporting a senior executive in both a business & personal capacity
  • Systems-oriented and tech-savvy
  • Proficiency in Excel and demonstrated ability to design and improve workflows using AI tools
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and prioritization capabilities
  • Naturally organized and process-driven
  • Ability to act as an accountability partner
  • Thrives in intellectually rigorous, fast-paced settings
  • Navigates sensitive situations with maturity and tact
