Job description

The Amazon Publisher Monetization (APM) team is shaping the future of monetization for Amazon's advertising supported publishers (e.g., Freevee, Twitch). The APM Agentic Insights team builds scalable intelligence that delivers fast, accurate, and actionable insights across Amazon Publisher Monetization (APM).
Driving long-term growth for our ad supported media service requires striking a balance between providing an experience customers will love and creating products that advertisers want to buy (brand safe, relevant audience, etc.). We're looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to own analytics for APM's Live Events business - a growing area spanning live sports, streaming events, and real-time publisher monetization

You'll partner directly with product, business development, and senior leadership to translate complex data into insights that drive go-to-market strategy and publisher actions.
This isn't a traditional BIE role. You'll leverage LLMs and generative AI to build conversational analytics experiences, architect self-service data tools, and move the team from reactive reporting toward proactive, AI-powered intelligence.

You'll operate with high autonomy, owning the end-to-end insight lifecycle from data modeling to executive-ready recommendations - and you'll mentor other BIEs as the team scales.
Key job responsibilities
* Own end-to-end business intelligence for Live Events, from data modeling through executive-ready insights
* Build deep monetization domain expertise to proactively surface opportunities the business isn't yet asking about
* Partner with Product, Business Development, and Executive leadership to translate data into go-to-market strategies and publisher actions with measurable business impact
* Conduct deep-dive analyses of business problems, formulate recommendations, and present to senior leadership
* Build and architect AI-powered analytics experiences (conversational agents, prompt-driven interfaces) using LLMs and generative AI
* Define the analytics roadmap for your business area - identify what to build, what to deprecate, and where AI can replace manual workflows
* Mentor BIEs and raise the technical bar for analytics quality, tooling, and methodology across the team
* Design scalable, reusable applications and data models
About the team
The APM Agentic Insights team builds scalable intelligence that delivers fast, accurate, and actionable insights across Amazon Publisher Monetization (APM). We serve business, product, tech, and science teams - replacing manual intake-driven analytics with self-service, AI-powered experiences. Our solutions range from off-the-shelf queries and dynamic dashboards to conversational analytics agents that let stakeholders get answers with a single prompt

Our vision is to be the trusted insights partner for every APM business, driving measurable business impact.
