Responsibilities

  • Design implement and manage Exadata Cloud Service ExaCS database solutions
  • Develop and maintain database architecture strategies to support business goals
  • Lead the migration and integration of databases across multicloud database environments including Oracle Cloud AWS Azure and Google Cloud
  • Ensure high availability scalability and performance of database systems
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and implement database solutions that meet business requirements
  • Hands-on experience with migrating large database to Exadata ExaCS ExaCC platform
  • Experience with migrating database to ATPADW
  • Design Database consolidation and reduce OPEX spending
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database architects and administrators
  • Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and security assessments
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and cloud offerings
  • Implement and manage Exadata X9 hardware including persistent memory PMem and RDMA algorithms to optimize performance and reduce latency
  • Deploy and manage Exadata X1110M98 hardware leveraging its scale out high-performance database servers and intelligent storage servers
  • Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience in the following areas RAC RAT testing ASM Exadata Performance tuning Data Guard Physical and Logical DG Broker
  • Experience in database security TDE Audit Vault OKV etc.
  • Experience in OS administration Linux Solaris virtualization storage ZFS ZDLRA
