Job Opportunity: Environmental Services (EVS) Director

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Environmental Services Director to join our Nursing & Rehab Center. The Environmental Services Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations within the facility.

Environmental Services (EVS) Director Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental services policies and procedures to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate procurement as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess facility maintenance needs and prioritize repair projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support infection control initiatives and ensure a sanitary environment.
  • Implement waste management and recycling programs to promote sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to environmental services.
